Our client is in need of adding a long-term ASCP Medical Technologist, MT or a Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (Generalist) to their laboratory, on their 3rd shift, working four, ten hour days, 8:30pm - 7:00am ASCP is required for this role.

Shift Available:

• Four, ten hour days, 8:30pm - 7:00am (rotating weekends and holidays)

Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, maintain and clean medical laboratory equipment. Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.

• Analyze, gather and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs and narratives.

• Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating and identifying microorganisms for analysis.

• Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 1+ year of recent experience as a Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Technician in a Generalist role testing clinical samples

• Able to work rotating weekends & holidays as needed

• Bachelor of Science or Associate of Science

• ASCP MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist) or MT (Medical Technologist) or MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician)
