SET THE COURSE

Responsible for conducting financial analysis and capital budgeting in support of new Retail Store and Marlin Bar development, and leasing strategies for the North America and international markets using advanced modeling skills. This position will also assist the international business with budgeting, reporting, forecasting and long-range planning as well as other financial and accounting projects.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

  • Prepare financial analysis, including pro forma P&L’s and NPV models, for evaluation of new retail store and Marlin Bar (combined retail and F&B) opportunities for the North America and International businesses.

  • Manage and enhance the pro forma model in conjunction with FP&A team.

  • Analyze the economics of new and existing leases to support leasing decisions and negotiating strategies.

  • Assist in specialized assignments related to financial analysis of new projects and or ventures.

  • Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and 5-year plan for the international business.

  • Report on weekly, monthly and annual sales performance for the international business.

  • Manage the capital estimation model in conjunction with the store construction and design teams and track actual vs. budget spend.

  • Conduct other ad hoc analysis to support the international business, including merchandise sales and margin analysis, OTB budgets development, and international retail price formulation.

  • Implement, coordinate, and contribute to other projects that require financial review.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related major. Advanced degree preferred     

  • Generally, 4+ years’ in financial analysis

  • Generally, 2+ years’ experience managing complex projects and priorities

  • Advanced Excel skills, including for financial modeling

  • Experience in a retail company

  • Experience in public accounting and/or auditing or commensurate experience

  • Experience with NPV and other investment analysis models

  • Experience with ERP Financial Systems (SAP preferred) and reporting tools

  • Good understanding and experience with budgeting, financial and reporting systems

  • Experience managing and manipulating large amounts of complex data

  • Demonstrated expert analytical skills and good attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task and quickly switch between short- and long-term projects

    Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.

Rate Range: $70,000.00-$107,253.44 annually
