THE POSITION As a QC Associate II/ Senior QC Associate you will work as part of the Quality Control team to test that all raw materials and finished goods meet defined specifications, in terms of consistency and performance. In this role, you will use advanced laboratory techniques to identify any potential issues in materials or completed products. Techniques will include analytical chemistry tests as well as functional tests using next generation sequencing. Strong candidates will be motivated to learn new laboratory skills as well as how to interpret results from genomics assays. IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL Become an expert on the methods and metrics relevant to single cell sequencing Be responsible for performing functional and analytical tests to ensure consistent, high quality of our single cell products Interpret and communicate results of QC tests to others on the QC and manufacturing team Create and maintain detailed records for reagent tracking and testing traceability Coordinate with operations team to prioritize experiments and secure results on time Critically assess the process by which QC is performed on different products and raw materials FOR THIS POSITION, WE LOOK FOR A passion for quality control and developing assays/processes to sustain functionality of finished goods Minimum of two (2) of years professional laboratory experience including at least one (1) year in a quality control role One who is excited to contribute to a critical team of the company while also learning new skills and become an expert on single cell sequencing An attention to detail with the ability to identify and escalate mistakes or problems Ability to carefully follow Standard Operating Procedures and make improvements when necessary Previous experience with assay development QC testing and process development Experience with molecular biology/cell biology and/or chemistry laboratory techniques At minimum, a Bachelor's degree in a life science field, chemistry, or engineering To meet the health and wellness needs of our team, Parse offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees, including: Medical, dental, vision, and Rx (prescription) coverage beginning on the 1st day of the month following your start date.
