Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our brand media clients.

· Prospect, penetrate and create new relationships with clients at all levels.

· Drive deals to closure in a new business environment.

· Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers.

· Understand Amazon's display, video, and audio advertising opportunities and tools to help build relevant advertising solutions for our advertisers.

· Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients.

· Understand and learn about the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage assigned accounts and drive revenue in line with established business objectives.

  • Build annual account plans including historical results, client strategy, key business drivers, and revenue growth opportunities.

  • Develop and grow relationships with agencies and advertisers while understanding marketing objectives, buying guidelines, and key performance indicators.

  • Build effective sales narratives based on client objectives and opportunities.

  • Drive effective written and verbal communications to activate on in-person and phone conversations.

  • Partner with internal teams to solve customer challenges and act as a key advocate internally to represent the voice of the customer.

  • Act as internal advocate for the industry and identify opportunities to build or enhance existing product suite.

  • This role requires a hybrid working model with in office presence and will require travel as needed (up to 50%).

A day in the life

A Sr. Account Executive's day will be filled with a variety of activities all centered around growing ads revenue for their assigned accounts. A typical week will include:

  • Meeting in person with clients to get to know them better, to understand their key business challenges, or to educate them on our unique products and solutions.

  • Communicating with external clients to respond to RFPs, share latest status of a pitch, share product updates or new opportunities, and schedule in-person pitch or immersion days.

  • Building effective sales narratives to drive education and adoption primarily with agency strategy and investment teams.

About the team

The bigger mission of the Pharma team is to drive better patient outcomes by helping people discover relevant healthcare treatments and provide a mechanism where they can get informed, understand and discuss treatment options with Healthcare professionals [HCPs], and if necessary easily fill prescriptions. Amazon Ads will continue to build full funnel ad solutions where advertisers can connect with people throughout their healthcare journey and measure impact through a combination of campaign metrics and post campaign 3P measurement solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience

  • 7+ years of digital media ad sales experience

  • Experience closing sales and revenue generation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building new customer relationships

  • Experience closing sales and generating revenue

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
