We’re looking for a public relations professional who wants to find and tell great stories that build brand, share expertise and demonstrate how Zebra makes an impact. We’re focused on things like deep learning machine vision for manufacturing, software with AI-driven applications that transform retail, sharing expertise with our channel and developer ecosystem, showcasing computer vision and generative AI research and products, collaborating with our global partners on innovation, and telling customer success stories about hardware and software moving businesses forward.

Responsibilities:

If you find that compelling and rewarding, then the Public Relations Advisor, EMEA could be the right next role for you. You’ll be part of a team collaborating with colleagues across EMEA and the globe at an exciting time for Zebra, our customers, partners and the technology industry.

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Public Relations EMEA, you’ll work strategically to find and tell impactful stories aligned to Zebra’s brand, expertise, and business, including navigating and simplifying data and technical information, advising subject matter experts, and liaising with our customers, partners, and PR agency network.

  • Act as a trusted representative and advisor for your line manager, including PR agency guidance and liaison, attending and presenting at meetings, completing assignments, and supporting KPI measurement and reporting as needed.

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, write and edit a range of communications content (PR plans, press releases, media advisories, messaging, Q&As) at a high volume and pace.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and our PR agency on new reports, products, customer successes, research, industry events, and interviews.

  • Identify, media train and coach our subject matter experts around thought leadership and talking with journalists.

  • Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in relatable field.

  • 8+ years of experience in PR, communications and/or marketing

  • Able to create/implement strategic communications plans

  • Able to take initiative and demonstrate strong follow-up/follow-through skills; lead/develop team members as well as agency resources

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team-based environment, yet able to work independently

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills; energetic, strategic and creative individual with ability to meet tight deadlines; manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • High integrity and accountability; work effectively with global teams across diverse cultures and geographies

  • Outstanding writing/editing/positioning skills

  • Speaks/writes fluent English; multiple languages preferred

  • Work confidently at all levels within the organization with ability to support business objectives

  • Provide strategic counsel, message positioning, editing, etc. to a variety of executive-level clients and develop partnerships with the strategy, marketing and operational teams

  • Advantage: B2B or B2C technology knowledge
