What You'll Do:
Sample management - Receive and QC shipping manifests prior to sample release to lab staff
Provide support to internal team members for status updates
Maintain confidential information and ensure clients are informed of changes or revisions.
Maintain multiple methods of communications with internal and external partners
Generate and maintain several data reports ensuring all information is accurate and update at all times
What You’ll Need:
High School diploma, GED or associates degree preferred.
Must be comfortable handling biological samples
Communicate professionally and concisely - both written and verbal
Have solid experience maintaining a high attention to detail
Proven Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint skills
Experience with Pivot Tables is preferred
Ability to understand scientific terminology and communicate it to others
Ability to quickly understand job-specific software
Team-oriented and the ability to work in a collaborative environment
Be a proven multi-tasker that truly thrives on juggling multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
Possess strong organizational skills with ability to quickly assess project status and communicate it effectively
Experience in handling large quantities of confidential data
Driven, energetic person coordinating activities among different areas of the department
