Robert Half Payroll Systems Consultant in Denver, Colorado

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Systems Consultant in Denver, Colorado, within the Energy/Natural Resources industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting payroll audits, providing subject matter expertise regarding internal controls, and configurations. This role involves reviewing payroll practices, ADP services, tax setup, ADP setup, fraud controls, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Support payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Provide subject matter expertise regarding internal controls and configurations

• Review payroll practices and ADP services to ensure they are up to date and effective

• Handle tax setup, ADP setup, and fraud controls

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

• Use ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ADP - Payroll, bi-Monthly Payroll, Multistate Payroll, Weekly Payroll, Tax - Payroll, Payroll Taxes, Payroll Tax Returns, Payroll Management, and Payroll - 101 - 500 Employees systems as needed

• Handle Full Cycle Payroll to guarantee all payroll processes are completed from start to finish within specified timeframes Requirements • Proficient in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, and ADP - Payroll

• Experience with bi-Monthly Payroll, Multistate Payroll, and Weekly Payroll

• Knowledge of Tax - Payroll, Payroll Taxes, and Payroll Tax Returns

• Excellent skills in Payroll Management and Full Cycle Payroll

• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for 101 - 500 Employees

• Previous experience in the Energy/Natural Resources industry preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• Commitment to providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
