Quantity Surveyor

QUANTITY SURVEYORWHITEHAVEN, CUMBRIA

Role Profile:

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for reporting to the Intelligent Client Management team for the contract, to provide commercial support and management, ensuring that all aspects of project contract administration is undertaken in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Ensure contract compliance and consolidate and coordinate that information as advice to the Intelligent Client/Category Management team

  • Analysis of monthly defined cost applications

  • Assurance of monthly defined costs applications with the Supplier

  • Analysis of fixed price project quotations

  • Analysis of monthly limit of liability applications

  • Analysis of contract Variations and quotations

  • Conduct commercial and financial assurance activities and present the findings

  • Engagement with Customers and Stakeholders on commercial matters

  • Contract administration and reporting

  • KPI analysis of financial measures

  • KPI score card updates and financial reward/risk

  • Annual target reconciliation

  • Contract Familiarisation to respond/advise on commercial matters

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Qualified in BSc in Quantity Surveying (or working towards)

  • Experience in the use of CEMAR

  • Knowledge of commercial aspects of civil and infrastructure projects

  • Knowledge and/or experience of the management of Subcontracts

  • Capable of obtaining (or currently holds) UK Nuclear industry clearance
