We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of web applications and services. As a PHP Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions that meet our business needs. Your expertise in PHP programming will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Develop server-side logic and back-end components using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.

• Design and implement database schemas and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.

• Integrate front-end components and user interfaces with back-end services, ensuring seamless user experiences.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.

• Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and fix bugs, ensuring high quality and reliability.

• Optimize application performance and scalability through performance tuning and optimization techniques.

• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in web development and PHP ecosystem, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies into projects.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers as needed, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer with expertise in building web applications and services.

• Strong proficiency in PHP programming language and object-oriented programming concepts.

• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.

• Solid understanding of relational database management systems, SQL, and database design principles.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and AJAX.

• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset towards troubleshooting and debugging.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with RESTful API development and consumption.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, particularly AWS or Azure.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong online presence in the developer community.
